Fictional League w/real MLB Rosters

Can you have a fictional league using real MLB rosters?
I would like to create a league that will allow me to manipulate the mlb rosters so that some players are on different teams, not the ones they currently play for.
Can this be done? If so, is it done through a draft?
Your answers will help me determine whether to get this game or not.

In OOTP 11, you can do any of the below setups (plus many others). I assume that the same will be true when OOTP 12 comes out, but I am not a tester so I do not now for sure:

Play a regular MLB game with real teams, real players, and real rosters
Play a fictional game with real teams and real players, but schedule a fantasy draft on the first day
Play with fictional teams and real players with a fantasy draft (but this takes a bit of work)
Play with real teams and fictional players, with or without fantasy draft
Play with fictional teams and fictional players, with or without a fantasy draft
Play any number of historical modes (I don't play historical, so others will be able to give you better info about these modes)

PS - you also have commissioner mode that will allow you to manipulate just about whatever you want, including the placement of individual players (although if you have the AI running the rosters, your newly placed players may then be shuffled around after the fact).

Believe me, you want to buy this game. The flexibility involved in what you can do is amazing. I am currently playing a totally fictional league with fictional teams and fictional players I've been playing every version since 5.0, a second league that is historical teams starting in 1901 but with fictional players, and several historical leagues (1890 NL, 1910 NL, 1970 NL, 1957).
