Hottest start a player ever had for you after you bought/ripped them?

I'm pretty sure this is it for me. Ralph Kiner - I bought him yesterday for my gold team. .370/.463/.935 slash, 7 HR, 23 RBI and 1.2 WAR in only 12 games to start his Nephilim career, and a POTW award t'boot.
How about for you guys? What players have you added that absolutely tore the league up from day 1?

George Sisler was so good for my Blue Gryphons I immediately started searching him out for my Gold and Red teams. He's had a few up and down seasons on each team, but for the most part his "down" seasons are still pretty good. Babe Ruth 98 surprised me too. I guess I didn't expect him to be as steady a run producer as he is.

Wish my Sisler would snap out of his funk. He rarely bats over .300 and is down to platooning against RHP. Thought about finally selling him but hope springs eternal. Sisler and Zimmerman have not done as well as I thought they might.

If it makes you feel any better my perfect Trout has never batted over .228 in silver. My Harper plays better and he's only an 86! Lol

I pulled this gentleman out of a gold pack this week. In his first year he ended up leading the league (S339) with a .370 batting average with 26 HR, 47 doubles and 42 SB. I haven't even seen this card before and I still don't see him in the AH. Any offers? I have him leading off..

The picture doesn't want to post. Cy Seymour 97. 97 con/74 pow/ 80 speed. He's a 79 in CF.
