I looked it up and Gil "Ga" Meche was out all of 2001 with (if memory serves) Tommy John surgery. He really *should* be on the M's roster, just unable to play until 2002.

I’m lurking here more than I thought I’d be.

It’s always stunning to me that this team won 116. They were a great team, and had several guys with career years. But the that lineup winning 116 doesn’t compute. It’s so bizarre. I’m interested to see how this version finishes
