Royals have a new owner

Pending approval of the MLB owners in November to make it official official, the Royals have been sold to Kansas City business man, John Sherman. It seems there is no downside to his ownership and the Kansas City media seem to be embracing this with open arms. I PRAY he is the man to finally turn us to a competitive team for years in a row like the old 70's-80's Royals. The '14-'15 run was nice, but a turn back to the old days would be a sight for sore eyes!

I, for one, am excited about this new chapter and sincerely hope it doesn't backfire.
This offseason could be really intriguing!

A local businessman as the owner sounds promising. Better than some damned conglomerate interested only in profitability. Or some rich dude looking to immediately move the team to where he lives.
