Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Sports Edition
Anyone want to play?
Rules *Contestant answers sports related questions that increase in difficulty and increase in financial rewards. $100 $200 $300 $500 $1,000 $2,000 $4,000 $8,000 $16,000 $32,000 $64,000 $125,000 $250,000 $500,000 $1,000,000 *The contestant answers one multiple choice question at each level, if the question is answered correctly, then they move to the next level and answer a harder question. There are "safe" levels at $1000, $16000, and $125000, and if contestant reaches that level they win at least that amount. *If contestant answers question correctly they may choose to "stop" and go home with that amount of money but answer no further questions. *Contestant has 3 "lifelines", 50/50, Phone A Friend, and Ask The Audience, which they may use at any time. They may use multiple lifelines on the same question. 50/50 takes away two of the four answers. Phone a friend calls a friend and they give what they think the answer is. Ask the audience polls the audience and you can see what the audience thinks the answer is on a percentage basis. |

I'd test my luck. I can assure you that my goggles are analog and can't access the internet. Also, one hockey question and I'm out before reaching a thousand fakebucks.

I like to make noises when I move my horsies when playing Chess, but the answer would be B) Jousting.

Well, in baseball a grand slam scores four runs, and by that logic I will say C) Four. No, really. London. Paris. New York. Something in Australia? C) Four.

So that's eggball, right? That is where the goal of the game is to pile all on top of one another until someone calls timeout?
Uhm. So, Super Bowl I would have been some time ago. Late 60s, I'd say. President Kennedy should be ruled out on that basis. It would of course help to know who even played in that game, and which of the other three guys are even football players. I know this show! Somebody snuck a figure skater in there for sure! Probably Staubach. That's not a football players name. I vaguely recall the name Bart Starr from somewhere. I will thus, after having thoroughly confused them, ask the audience. And yes, I am deeply ashamed of myself.

That one I happen to know. Great-Uncle Winfried always related how Joltin' Joe fell short of his 57th consecutive game exactly on his 57th birthday.
C) 56.

I feel like I would know about it if there had been a boycott in 2004. I feel like I should know where the games were at all in 2004. Going backwards… Rio, London, Beijing... uh...
There was definitely a boycott in 1980. Now, where did the 1988 Games take place? Hum! There were games in Barcelona at some point… I know so much. B) 1980.
