Fictional Fighters Download Issue
I am trying to input "Rocky" fighters into TB2013. I did it before, it has been some time. The file goes in on the edit page and the fighter shows up when you look him up under "Fighters". All looks normal. When you go to put him in a fight, another fighter shows up in his place. I deleted the other fighter and tried to put Rocky in as a new fighter as with all of the ratings, ect. The same fighter came up when Rocky was put in a fight. Somehow, this fighter's file is attached to Rocky. Same thing happens with any fictional fighter I attempt to use. Anyone had this issue?

I have not, if/when I create a totally new fighter, I just make a copy of an existing fighter & change the name/data, etc.
From my experiences, that's worked pretty well. |

On the fight card click on the false fighter's name. This should take you to where he is located. If not- be sure and check your retired boxers or as a last resort do a search under all divisions/all men or whatever is your general group. Once you find him edit and make a copy. You may have to clear out of your fight card to do this. Be sure and save your card before doing so. You will have to complete up to that bout and save still using the false player but it will change. Once you have made a copy of the false player -delete the original and your intended boxer should now appear on the card. I think (you may have to test) the original will be the top one to delete. They will be identical. I play TBCB2013 but also played 2.5 and think this method worked with either. Have had the boardgame since 1979 or so. PC game 05 or whenever it began. Me and my father -in-law run a boxing league on Slack. First attempt and started back in June. Gradually working the bugs out. We do the whole 9 yards with player owned gyms etc. Lots of role playing. We create what is needed. At max members that we can afford now . It has been free as we have covered the fee. Anyone else joins will have to calculate what Slack charges. Minimum probably $10 /month. Hopefully not over $15. This is purely to pay the Slack fees as we use a lot of channels and images and download the bouts with the images. The free version would not allow it.
