Victor Echegaray
This is one that SAL created a while back and is on my list. Check out his SMW and JLW threads if you haven't already. SAL really gave us a nice group of files there.

Here is Charlie Beecher
Thanks for your help SAL! Here is another one from the list. Please don't hesitate to e-mail me if you need any of these pictures. Many of them are from the ones that you all posted here, so you may not need many. However, if you do, use my email address for requests rather than the PM system here at OOTP (it does not seem to allow attachments)
chrismund@elvis.com (and yes, I enjoy grooving on the King from time-to-time ) CHARLIE BEECHER FW Hometown - New York, New York, USA 21(3)-6-2; 4 NC Beecher was the self proclaimed Junior Featherweight Champion of the world; a title that he bestowed upon himself after defeating Freddie Jacks in 1921. Beecher put the title on the line the following yearagainst an inexperienced Tibby Watson, the two fought twelve rounds with Beecher winning on points. Beecher was a decent defensive boxer with a pretty fair chin (he was only stopped once toward the end of his career). Charlie fought some of the more active if not the best fighters of his day including Dutch Brandt, Frankie Burns and Dick Loadman.

EARL "Little Boy" BLUE
EARL "Little Boy" BLUE LHW
Hometown - St. Paul, Minnesota, USA 18(11)-16-3; 3 NC Blue was 16-4-1 at the close of 1926. Unfortunately, the last three years of his career brought a 2-12-2 record. Although he fought Young Stribling and Battling Levinsky, his level of competition did not greatly improve. His skills just seem to have evaporated.

Dick Burge Bw
DICK BURGE BW
Hometown - New York, New York, USA 0-2-0 Burge fought twice in New York city, dropping both bouts by way of stoppage. His opponent in his final match (Jimmy Paul) did go on to fight and lose to Benny Leonard but I doubt that Dick went around bragging that he was beaten by the man that was beaten by the man.

Jack Bonner Mw
JACK BONNER MW
Born - Summit Hill, Pennsylvania, USA 47(38)-21-21; 30 NC Bonner was a brawler not adverse to underhanded tactics. This powerful Middleweight fought many of the best boxers of his era with wins over Dan Creedon and Joe Butler. He fought in losing efforts with Joe Walcott, Kid McCoy and Tommy Ryan. His bout with Ryan was for the World Title in 1898; a 20 round points decision that went against Bonner. Jack fought a series of four bouts with Philadelphia Jack O'Brien. O'Brien clearly had the upper hand winning two of the bouts and being declared the "better" in the two no contest bouts by the local papers.
