Feeder league question

Anyone have any idea how to get the game engine to create starting pitchers with more than two pitches?

I'm creating a fictional league and adding some history to it before I take over a team. However, the feeder leagues are creating far too many two pitch starters and teams are left with very few if any young starting prospects.

In the past I would just edit starters to have more than two pitches. Yet by adding history, I really dont want to have to do this year after year.

No

No I don't have an fix, just a thought. I figured that the the prevelance of 2 pitch starters reflects the lack of good SPs in MLB. Most teams are lucky to have 2 or 3 good pitchers with 3 plus pitches and good movement and control.

Most teams 4 and 5 SPs are fringe pitchers try to make it to the bullpen in the 6th or 7th inning without getting hammered.

In my ootp game, there are a fair amount of sucessful back fo the rotation starters without a third pitch.
