Fictional Promotion/Relegation Playoffs
I'm trying to set up a league with no feeder or minor league setup, where there is no draft, and all teams are independent up and down a ladder.
To accomplish this I want to stack several leagues on top of one another and have the top two teams in a league have a playoff series to determine champion or promotion, and the bottom two teams in a league have a series playoff to determine relegation. I allowed the OOTP engine to handle the top two teams' playoffs, and went in and manually set up seven playoff games for the bottom two teams. The problem is, the game engine doesn't recognize this as a "series", so it played all seven games regardless. Is there a way you can manually set up a playoff series that is treated like one series, where it will stop after one team has won more than half of the games? |

no, you have to manually pay attention to who is winning and stop scheduling games or delete the rest of them. I do this in many of my leagues for promotion playoffs
