Quick storyline question

I've started a 19th century fictional league with storylines ON.

However reading that a player is marrying supermodel Kate Upton in 1872 or that he's filing for bankruptcy tends to spoil the fun.

Problem is, it happens even if there's a year_min modifier

Hence my two questions:
- which modifier should I use "league_year_min" or "world_year_min" in order to correct this issue?
- was this "year_min" modifier somehow not working as designed in some cases?

And, no! Bill Lomax, you can't shoot a TV commercial in 1873.

I'm using OOTP14 by the way.

IIRC the "league_year_min" token doesn't work properly. I've mentioned it a few times.

I think it was broken for a time, but I thought it got fixed sometime last year.

As for which token, the world year is the calendar year, where the league year rolls over at the pre-season start. So today, we would be in world year 2015, but we're still in league_year 2014 (until we hit that mysterious date known as "Preseason begins")

Kate Hudson means absolutely nothing though in a fictional universe so I think name dropping like that should be eliminated altogether.

You can edit the names in the storyline file, it's just a list of names separated by | symbols, which means that the game chooses a random one of them from the list.
