Pitcher stamina adjustments
I'm setting up a fictional league and I noticed that there are three places to make adjustments to pitcher stamina:
1. Under Traditional OOTP Player Creation Modifiers, there is a category called "Pitching Stamina" 2. Under the League Totals, there is a category called "Starting Pitcher Stamina" 3. Under the League Totals, there is a category called "Relief Pitcher Stamina" Does anyone know how these three fields work together? |

The first governs what stamina ratings are assigned to pitchers for that league, when fictional players are created, but only for fictional players. It basically shifts the distribution curve for talent in one direction or the other. The second is an on-going adjustment mechanism designed to produce reasonable season-long IPouts stats for starting pitchers for a league as a whole, based on what era you are playing in. You can manually adjust this, if you wish, with the result that total IPouts for SPs during a season will be higher or lower. The third does nothing. It isn't functional. There are a handful of these vestigial items in the game that Markus turned off (or never turned on) but leaves in the game for some reason. |
