After Major League Baseball banned General Manager John Coppolella, the Braves elected to hire unknown Tim McFadden to fill the role. McFadden immediately made a big splash, trading minor leaguers Cristian Pache, Alex Jackson, Kyle Wright and Ian Anderson to Anaheim for rookie two-way sensation Shohei Ohtani. Ohtani will be the Opening Day pitcher and will play right field when not on the mound. Here's how the lineup and rotation will shake out.

Atlanta won their Opening Day tilt behind a strong pitching performance by rookie phenom Shohei Ohtani, who gave up a 2-run homer to Carlos Santana while striking out 12 Phightin's. Ohtani also hit his first Major League dinger in the win.
