Request: 144 teams 162 games

Another user asked me to post this on his behalf.

162 game season with all 144 teams facing each other at least once and all division opponents face each other twice.

There are 2 subleagues, 8 divisions, 18 teams in each division, a 162 game regular season for each team (81 home and 81 road). Each team faces all divisional opponents each twice (1 home, 1 road), other than divisional teams all other teams (including inter sub-league opponents) each face each other for one game (home or road, creator picks). And if there is one game remaining (without an opponent) out of 162 for each of the 144 teams, I'd like that game to be a special one, like a Field of Dreams game or something like that. If there can't be a special game made, either way, I would like each teams' opponent to be an inter-division one. If someone reads this and needs more clarification, I'll be willing to help them out.

based on my quick math, you would have 18*7 out of division games = 126

In division you would have 17*2 games = 34

That would leave you with 160 games. You can have two more random games added, or leave it at 160, or have two division games

so you would have in division
4
2
2
2
2
2
2

and 126* 1 out of division

This is a beast of a schedule either way

Ha! That's what I thought.

I will pass that on to the person who requested it (not me).
