Seattle Mariners: yrs2015-2034, 2010W-1231L, .620W%, 9 World Series Titles, 19/20yrs in playoffs, 10x Manager of Year, 11/20yrs w/100wins, 11yrs straight w/99+wins

Funny thing, I started my first franchise with much the same approach and 1/3 thru my first season my win pct was around .300. I got frustrated and tried over, but I felt like most of my team seemed solid, so I made mostly the same moves in my second attempt with the same Mariners team. Generally, I went for pitching, pitching, pitching, and versatility along with athleticism in position players. The first 3 runs are the most important, and I tried to make it so I had as few games as possible scoring less than 3 (you can usually manufacture 3 runs with a decent offense that has speed) and minimize time with below average pitching with signing undervalued relievers and marginal starters. Basically what the industry has done, but I did it first!
