Request: Athletics Logos

Looking for some help designing a Carolina Athletics Logo. I know what I want it to look like and my attempt to design it. Would love someone make my idea look game worthy.

Below are the concept images. First is the Athletics "A" and colors. Then the UNC image. And them the attempt to merge the two.

I would love the team logo to be like the one from Texas with the ball in the background, then the state then the above logo.

It feels a little busy, probably because the state of NC doesn't lend itself as well to the logo as TX does. So, here's some options without the state:

And a couple of variations on the base logo:

EDIT: I just noticed that your concept image had the A blending a little more. Let me know if you want me to re-do the logos with this version (it wouldn't take long):

This relocation is not that much of a stretch. Here: https://whitecleatbeat.com/2016/05/0...ics-las-vegas/

The logo will be a redo of the classic Las Vegas sign. The Yellow is just fine but need to change the red to green (115740). Also, The wording needs to change. The "welcome" to be replaced with LasVegas and the center section with the Athletics below. Might have to shrink the "A" to make it look right.

I was able to do a little more than I originally thought. Here is the finished product. Had to change the name to Vegas Athletics to make it work.
