Facegen Issue

So I've noticed the past week or so, no matter what version I'm playing on (beta or public, Steam or eSellerate), that for my fictional game only, player photos are screwing up. They're showing up in the game, and in my folder still, but when I look at a player who had an existing picture, it doesn't give me options other than "regenerate" or create a new one, as if it deleted or lost the data of the picture.

I made sure to look at my modern game to see if it was happening there, and it isn't; everybody's pictures load up fine. This is only on my fictional game. It's mainly a problem if a player switches teams, like getting traded or called up from the minors, because their picture doesn't update. I don't know what's causing this to happen, it'd been working fine in the past and now it only updates if I manually tell it to.

To this point I've tried updating my graphics card (it's fully up to date), deleting all the pictures to start over (it regenerated new ones, which was fine, but issue persisted still once I close the game and re-load), I tried disabling and re-enabling the facegen as well. Nothing's worked, and I thought I'd wait to see if the update would fix this but it didn't, so wanted to ask for help now. Should I send the save game in for you guys to look at or can somebody else suggest what to do?

Just to clarify - the options besides regenerate or create a new picture are greyed out, or they literally aren't there?

They're all grayed out, and I meant that the auto-load feature and new picture are all that works; regenerate nothing happens. When I pick "info" it says there's no information and that the facial type is "not set" on the player. Yet when I do generate a new picture, it does keep the previous facial type setting, like African players remain marked as African after and so on.

OK, we'll have to check that out, not sure what might be going on there.

This recently happened to me with some of my copies ....

I copy and pasted photo files from the graphics file into another save .. because after I changed many faces, I did save as and not save first..... so the original file didn't get saved with all the face changes....

But funny thing is .. I had the generate new and regenerate same options as the ones greyed out... face type was also said to be *not set

So I uninstalled and reinstalled computer.. then things were back to normal

Can I get a reminder about where to upload the files to again? I've tried hunting around on the forum and don't see the instructions anymore, the one link leads to a dead end regarding to instructions for it in the manual.

Alright, got it uploaded as "NRHL.7z" (not to be confused with my previous file from the original game, which I noticed was still present in the folder). Hope you guys can figure out what's going on.

There are a few steps you can try here: Can't see facegen pictures/pictures are distorted or corrupted - changing the rendering mode may help with your specific card.

Has there been any luck finding a solution for this problem? I tried uninstalling and re-installing on Steam, but that didn't do anything to help. Are there any other possible suggestions for what I could do?
