Windows vs MAC
I know some of you have a version on each OS and I was wondering what the difference were. I'm looking at getting a new MAC desktop with 21" monitor and would like to convert OOTP 15 over and we use if the improved resolution and screen size over my laptop. However I remember seeing some MAC (albeit older ones) had some issues that the Windows versions did not. Thoughts?

I'm sorry to say that I am experiencing several issues playing this year's version on a Mac- instability and crashes as well as FaceGen looking very cartoony. I am hoping these will be resolved in a patch.
The interface resolution and amount of data that I am able to see on my monitor, however, are amazing.

There have been a number of Mac-specific problems with this release. I would imagine they'll be patched eventually, but right now, I wouldn't touch OOTP on a Mac, if you've got a Windows PC to run it on.

Aside from the 3D issue, I haven't had any problems with OOTP 15 on my Mac.

What specs are you running? Could that play a part?

I am not thrilled with the new FaceGen on my Mac but that is my only complaint.
I understand that the 3-D doesn't work but seeing how I have absolutely zero interest in the 3-D aspect so turn it off anyway, it doesn't affect me.

Anyone want to post their MAC specs so we can see if maybe the processor, RAM or something else creates a different experience for different folks?

Processor: 1.8 GHz Intel Core i5 Memory: 4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 (very unhappy with my memory, and my external drive broke. Now I have to make a trip to the apple story not only for that, but because my pages application won't open.) Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 4000 1024 MB Software: OS X 10.9.2 (13C1021) |

It crashed twice when I was trying to play a game in manager mode, I was pretty early on in them, both times I lost my saves, so I gave up on that. I've been playing a fictional league now, just simming, and I've had no problems.
