[QUOTE=silvam14;4176314]Looks like a picture closer to 1952. I did that park. You can see the monuments near the base of the flag pole
Just goes to show you about photos you find on the web. They are nice to find but may not be correct in what it says it is. I loaded that photo in my photo editor and zoomed into the monument, It indeed has all 3 monuments there. Babe Ruth's monument was erected in April of 1949. He was the 3rd one after Miller Huggins (1932) and Lou Gehrig (1941). Well, this is Wikipedia says. You very well may be right, Silvam. My mistake for posting this. I was givin a bum steer!! lol |

If I didn't take on this project, I wouldn't know anything about historical stadiums. I'm so glad I did. I was always fascinated with stadiums growing up in the 80's. I played pure stat baseball by sub logic and had their stadium disk. Thought it was the coolest. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I love the history of the ballparks, the crazy dimensions of some of them. And not only the craziness, but why? Why was it like that? Lots of neat stories that I'm still learning to this day. By the way, in my last edition of Baseball Digest, there is an ad for a new ballpark book. 500 Ballparks From Wooden Seats to Retro Classics It's by Eric and Wendy Pastore and this is the 2nd edition, updated. A lot of my ballpark pics came from them. You may have heard of them. They travel around the country to all kinds a ballparks and photo them. |

knight, you can download the historical ballpark files through Steam Workshop. When the download is finished, click the install button in the Workshop window. Voila! Everything's set up for you.

Good Morning Silvam. Sorry but I just saw your post on the other ballpark thread.
To answer you, yes, I do have all the 3D parks in the "models" folder. All the parks show up and are all playable. I just don't get the 3D crowds. It's all black in those areas. Only the 3D crowds don't show. Now, I did just get a new graphics card and the game play is great. Much smoother animation. No choppiness on the parks except the new ones from OOTP18. Love the gameplay part. It's way better with the new card. However, I'm stupid with graphics as I don't understand all of the new settings I have with this card. I must not be setting something right. I've tried changing some things but have only seen a drop in crispness, not as clear, so I put the setting back. Basically, I don't know what I'm doing. I don't even know what the settings mean. I'm lost with that stuff. Last edited by zappa1; 03-28-2017 at 08:19 AM. |

Yes. I am going back and adding years to the original ones I did with no years. Nothing else has changed so no need to do anything on your end (except I changed all the faces in the right direction)

Do you mean that these are already set up for 3D crowds or that they are the same as ones I already did and assigned to years?

no, they are not. they are the same. I am simply changing the name to add the years for my own organization

BTW, is there any way to use SketchUp to get in and delete wire frames, without messing up the whole model? There were a couple of fictional parks that had the outfield stands in a weird place. Figured I could try to get into the file and blow them out, but didn't know if it was as simple as highlighting a bunch of vertices, then hitting delete... |

It would be easier if I did it. Which changes to which parks do you want?
