Oozeballs, loonys, grasshuggers... fantasy PBP in XML
Has anyone modified their XML files for play-by-play?
How was your in-game experience? Was it worth the trouble? It seems really time-consuming, but maybe the results will be worth it. Here's what I was playing around with in XML for my fantasy bloodball league - pitches: <TEXT_OBJECT id="9074" text="hard slimeball" /> <TEXT_OBJECT id="9075" text="hard slime" /> <TEXT_OBJECT id="9076" text="fadeaway dirtball" /> <TEXT_OBJECT id="9077" text="hard fadeaway oozeball" /> <TEXT_OBJECT id="9078" text="perfectly placed dirtball" /> <TEXT_OBJECT id="9079" text="knee-buckling slimeball" /> <TEXT_OBJECT id="9080" text="knee-buckling loony" /> <TEXT_OBJECT id="9081" text="breaking mudball" /> <TEXT_OBJECT id="9082" text="breaking sewer pitch" /> <TEXT_OBJECT id="9083" text="good breaking stenchball" /> <TEXT_OBJECT id="9084" text="good breaking stink pitch" /> <TEXT_OBJECT id="9085" text="good hard breaking ball" /> <TEXT_OBJECT id="9086" text="hard biting screwball" /> <TEXT_OBJECT id="9087" text="good tight screwball" /> </TEXT_CATEGORY> <TEXT_CATEGORY id="319"> <TEXT_OBJECT id="6349" text="knee-buckling grasshugger" /> <TEXT_OBJECT id="6350" text="nasty grasshugger" /> |
