Dawson the only Hall electee

How Dawson gets in and Larkin and Alomar don't, not to mention Blyleven, blows my mind.

Here's a full article. Blyleven fell short by 5 votes:

Andre Dawson was elected to the Hall of Fame - MLB - SI.com

Yes, you should, considering he doesn't deserve to be there.

It was his 13th. I'd bet on him getting in next year.

New motto for the BCS: Hey, at least we're not the baseball hall of fame voting process.

He got 62.7% last year and now he's up to 74%. He'll get in.

I am biased and I don't care. Life long Tiger fan. That being said he pitched his most memorable game for your Twins. That game against Smoltz was incredible. I just loved to watch the guy pitch.

The hall of fame has always been a joke, but the voting this year was more pathetic than normal.

Lets worry about getting Bert in first. Jack only played 1 year with us athough it was an impressive year.

I still have just a bit of bitterness about when he cried and said it was a dream come true to play for the Twins and then bolts for the bigger payday in Toronto the very next year.

meh...he's 95% Hall-of-Famer without Game 7.

and...I didn't think you were that old...I was 6-7 when he bolted. Definitely don't remember his leaving .
