Can't Make Subs While Playing

I must've switched a setting that I can't figure out because I'm in year 3 of playing out games and suddenly I cannot make substitutions inside the game. I do have all of my team's controls set to me and not to AI, that's the only setting I can think of needing to switch.

EDIT: I've even gone into Commish mode but can't change my SP in games that I am playing instead of simulating.

EDIT #2: I am the GM only so I don't deal with setting lineups and such except for when I'm playing out games, I'm usually allowed to switch as I see fit. I decided to switch control of setting lineups and depth charts and pitching in the manager options from my manager to me and I still can't change things inside playing a game.

Thanks for reminding me because I thought I had cannot get fired checked but I did not. But no, I'm not fired, I can still do everything outside of making changes inside an actual game when I'm playing instead of simulating.

The game I played didn't have anyone doing substitutions, even though my pitcher was gassed in the 7th inning, he stayed and pitched all 9.

I can't make changes before the game either.

I seriously doubt this is it, but by chance you aren't playing GM only are you?

I am but that's never been an issue while playing out a game. I know I can't make changes while simulating but if I choose to play out a game, I've always been able to make changes. But also to verify, I switched to being manager + gm and I'm still not allowed to make changes. I'm talking about the screen right before actually playing out a game, I like to play out one game per series.
