A question about names

For OOTP 18 or OOTP 19 games, at least, I have this question, that I hope someone can answer sufficiently well here, if at all possible. My question is this, then:

How do I keep all the names of players, at least, in a certain game world from changing, when I might just want to change any or all the names from only one certain league, for example, in said game world, all at once? Anyone have any idea how to do that, without changing every other possible player's name in said game world? Please advise, if so. Thank you. CD out.

I'm not sure I understand the question. Are you trying to change the names of existing players? Or do you just want one of the leagues in your world to draw names from a particular nameset when you create players?

Well. when I just want the names of most, if not all, players in a certain league to change, but not the names of all players in all leagues to change, in terms of a mass renaming of said players, how do I do that, if possible, and leave the names of those players you don't want to mass-change alone? Just wondering, that's all. CD out.

I think the original name file stays with that "game". So, whichever name file the game was created with will stay with it unless you import a new name file into that specific game. Changing the default name file after creating a game doesn't affect that game, it only affects newly created game files.

As far as leagues within game, the names are all based on the region of origin. So, the only way to only adjust it for a specific league would need to mean that the origin of that league is unique to the others and you would only alter the names within the file for that origin.

Can't help you there. I don't know anything about renaming players. I didn't even know that was possible.

I think I misread the original post. You are wanting to change the names of existing players? I have no idea how to do that on a mass scale.

So I guess nobody has any answers that will allow me to mass-change the names of players in only one league or draft pool, if necessary and/or desired, and leave all other player names in the applicable game world unchanged? Please let me know if that's the case here, or not. CD out.
