Historical play
I have both V1 & V2, on the fence about V3 as I only play historical seasons. I am an Original 6 guy, and am asking if this version is fun and accurate for historical replays. Thanks for any advice.

Plenty of mods are also available for historical play (jerseys, logos, facegen-packs) here in the forums or via Steam workshop http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...s-project.html http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...1-present.html http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...-complete.html

For me it's kind of clunky, there's the "coaching advantage" that you will always be the underdog for since you can't get coaching ratings improved.
You also can't add additional leagues, no ahl, juniors..etc. All prospects must go to a reserve list. I attempted to add a new expansion team in a historical game but it didn't really work as intended and had to abandon that quest. If you are looking for a smooth historical game, you will be disappointed. However if you don't mind a few hiccups and aren't necessarily a completest, you should enjoy it. - my $.02
