a little help please

I want to have my league that I have now but start it in another year what is the best way to do this lets say it's 1970 now in the league but I want the same league with everything the same but it's in the year 1965 instead. can you just change the year somehow or can you start a new game in the year 1965 with everything the same teams, logos,uniforms , minor league etc etc
can you tell me how to do this.
Also did there used to be a database we downloaded and put in the database folder for majors and minors that we used. thanks

As far as I know you can't change the year after you create it you would have to start over but I could be wrong.

There are settings (financial) that you can change to play "like it's 1965", in terms of salaries and budgets. But that won't get you 1965 rosters, for example. You can also set to 1965 variables for overall numbers in MLB (which could affect totals for player performance). But again that does not sound like what you want.

thank you for your help I think what I will try to do is start new game in 1965 But can I somehow export the league setup and rosters with the ballparks and uniforms already assigned

Try saving existing league as a template.
Start a new game and just after load the template.
Change the date.

I think that will simply start you where you are in your original game, but with new date?
