Schedule request

I am putting together a very small solo league inspired by an ancient Florentine neighborhood soccer tournament and I am hoping someone would be willing to make a couple of schedules.

1 league …4 teams…18 games

Games played only on weekends, afternoon starts. Each series would be a two game set.

and

1 league … 6 teams … 18 game schedule
Games played only on weekends, afternoon starts. Each series would be a three game set.

I am trying to capture a sense of beer league baseball tournaments.

Would someone be wiling to help out?

Your numbers don't work out.

If you want a balanced schedule, then teams would play opponents six times. That doesn't fit with your proposed two-game series.

You can't get a balanced 18-game schedule with a six-team league. Remember that, in a six-team league, each team has five opponents, so the schedule, to be balanced, has to be evenly divisible by five, not by six. 20 games (with two-game series) would work.

Firstly, thanks for checking my bad math (I should have paid attention in first grade!)

Yes, what you are describing in both cases would be what I was interested in. I kept thinking of it in terms of taking place over a weekend - two days. But I would be cool with three games over two days. A Saturday doubleheader and a Sunday afternoon game.

So I would be ok with each team playing the other six times for my four team circuit and a 20 game schedule with my six team league.

Thanks for reaching out!
