Creating a North American Champions League

I am thinking about putting together a Fictional setup with a Mexican League (based on the current league) an MLB setup along current lines and a Canadian League. Setting the quality of each as MLB.

I would like to create a Champions League made up of the top x number of teams from each league that would play concurrently with the normal team schedule. Similar to what soccer does.

I think this would need set up as a tournament, not as a league. I have not set up a tournament before. I would like to take the top two Mexican teams, the top two NL and AL teams from MLB and the top two Canadian teams, set up a tournament with best of 7 series running concurrent with the regular seasons of the 3 leagues. Is this doable?

Will PT be able to manage an schedule infiltrating the League schedules with the Tournament schedule?

Um, you can't realistically setup a tournament while running a Best-of-7 with club teams while the season goes on. You would be edit crazy trying to schedule off days (because those clubs are also going to play their regular season schedule).

Your best bet of doing this creating a tournament to start at the conclusion of the longest season league (MLB) and going from there.

Alternatively, you could just make them an association, select the divisional champions and what not, and go from there.

it's possible but you have to have a custom schedule
