Dirt vs Grass/Field Basepaths

I was rustling through stadium pics today and thought this forum the best and most recently educated in which to inquire. I noticed, for instance in nielson's recent PNC I think it was, the difference in basepath structures. Honestly, I've never given it much consideration until now. So, the questions:

Does the difference show up in any meaningful way in RL? Infield hits, defensive requirements, stolen bases, park factors, etc...?

What's the current composition of basepath coverings in the ML? Is it different at other levels? Are there rules or requirements by league?

I did stumble upon this, which is almost hypnotizing while reading it, but haven't seen yet whether there's speculation of impact or basepaths specifically. Don't mean to be opening up some unworthy rabbit hole, I just got real curious tonight.

Edit: All of which led me to https://ballparkdigest.com/2016/03/1...mlb-ballparks/ a rather fascinating article for someone like myself, having never seriously inquired.

And apologies if this inquiry and comment are ill-placed. I assure you I won’t belabor the matter.

Citi Field - Kentucky bluegrass
According to Citi Field's Twitter feed, the playing field consists of four different strains of Kentucky bluegrass. Apollo, Midnight Star, Moonlight and P105 are the specific strains.

Call me crazy, but those sound like strains of Weed.

Like, "Bro, you gotta try this Moonlight. That's some good <BLEEP>"
