Lost My League and Need To Recreate
I had a league that used real historical players for the teams they really played for. In other words, the Dodgers had players from all different eras of their franchise from Babe Herman to Sandy Koufax and Clayton Kershaw. All the other teams were built the same way. My computer crashed and I lost the league and now I don't know how to recreate it from step one. When I try to create a historical league, random players are selected for teams. I want what I had before but I am lost and don't know how to create the league again. Can anyone help with the steps necessary to do this? Thanks.

Never heard of this option, but sounds interesting. Did you find a solution?

not certain if it contains all of your players or is what you're looking for, but in Add-Ons Central there is a file you can download - "All Time MLB Greats Quickstart". A small description of the file: "file includes the best players for each franchise in it's league." it may not be a perfect solution, but it's one way to get restarted i hope.
i gather you didn't have a back-up file before your computer crashed .... i didn't either for the longest time and lost 50 years of 1901-1950 mix of historical/fictional players .... now i have a external HD just for my OOTP and i back up every time i sim a month or so. anyway, that's the only solution i know. Hopefully someone with a lot more expert knowledge will be able to help. Good luck.
