Although our rosters have not been finalized I'm announcing that Mel Turnbow is officially on the Unstable roster for the upcoming season. In previous leagues some owners contemplated this move, I opted to go ahead and do it.
His selection was not disputed and did not involve any tie-breakers.

Chuvalo is one impressive man. He sat at my table in Graziano's for about an hour at the IBHOF. Lucid and sharp, especially considering all of the wars he was in during a lengthy career. His fist looked larger than the HOF's cast of Carnera and his neck seemed to be bigger than my thigh. Scary.

Glad to see you got this going again. Unfortunately, the City of Buffalo refused to cough up the few hundred million required to renovate the Broadway Auditorium, home to legendary fights featuring Jimmy Slattery, Rocky Kansas and Lou Scozza in the '20s, from the snow-plow shed it is today (seriously) to the sort of sporting palace required for a UTBA franchise. I'll be following along as able, and may jump back in at some point when there's an opening.

Bear will more than likely be running a minor league in season 2 also (with rules TBD)

Running slow but having fun doing it ... keeping it smaller this go around to help keep it from becoming a chore running it.
