The Canadiens have improved in just all the offensive categories, including goal scoring and PP while maintaining defense. A couple of concerns would be PK% and blocked shots.

Nestor, Wilf 30 14 3 0 2 2.04 0.896
Zadina, Tomas 22 1 2 0 0 2.98 0.882

Montreal's Wilf Nestor is having a slow start to the season. Despite his pretty good goals against average, he is not carring his normal save %. Tomas Zadina is finally getting a chance to play in the NHL. The goal would be to get him 15-20 games this season.

Montreal's younger defenseman are getting some good experience while veteran Jonathan Harper is out for a few weeks. I considered sending down Tomas Badura to the AHL but did not want to expose him to waivers at this time.

After a career low of 52 points last year, Riley Callander is off to a great start to this season showing that he is again a legit 1st line Center. Bryce Spencer is looking like he will be a 50 + point player again this year after only getting 41 last year. Montreal will demote LW Ralph Blaney to the AHL. Montreal will promote Andrew Walsh, the 22 year old has 7 goals and 17 points with 33 PIMs in 18 AHL games this year. Walsh has 83 NHL games experience, all with Montreal and has 9 goals and 21 points with 49 PIMs.
