If no difference on Historical, can you start with current season and go forward without the learning to GM or whatever the new feature is? Just start with this season and develop as before (only with new and improved version)?

Regarding the mods, FHM3 will support Steam Workshop, I'm sure all compatible mods will be moved over there once the game is released.
so that means in future u can only have one version for ootp 18 ? no more preorder get steam key correct

I think that's what they are calling the 'sandbox' version where you can enable commissioner mode and play it as normal. So you don't have to do that career mode and can still start in the 2016/17 season.

Please please forgive me if these things have been answered. I'm trying to read this thread at work between prints and it's hard to read everything.

Will the game be readily available on the App Store or will that come later? I have an iTunes gift card burning a hole in my wallet.

I don't care about online play, but I love to play in the minors. I have an OOTP baseball double-A fictional league that has been going strong since 1932. I love the functionality of it, expansion and so forth. I know that's a lot of programming to do and that team is much larger, so I understand if the minor league functionality in FHM3 isn't as developed, but I wanted to ask if there had been any improvements there.

For instance, when I first bought FHM2 my goal was to put an expansion team into the ECHL. When I realized I couldn't do that I created a new fictional league but it was playable only as a major league. I'd like to be able to create a fictional double-A league like I did in OOTP. Is this possible in FHM3? Or is it possible to expand the ECHL?

I'll be buying the game either way as it looks excellent to me, just thought I'd ask about these hopeful features.

Thanks for all the hard work!

Jason
Well okay. I guess to get a response you have to complain.

No, but I use most time to code.

AFAIK (but Andreas is handling it) FHM 3 will be available in the App Store but with Apple doing the review it will be later then the normal release.

Regarding your other questions: of course all changes apply to junior leagues as well but it is not possible to do any expansion in the ECHL.

I'd certainly love to see this in a future update. I think there are currently two odd numbered divisions in the E. It would at least be nice to be able to expand it once by two teams to bring all the divisions to even/equal numbers.

Is it possible to share the system requirements for FHM 3, or are they essentially the same as with FHM 2?

I'm guessing this goes without saying, but in a normal game (not road to glory but Sandbox), is the simulation faster than last year?

Oh and can you still create players and if so, is there more options when creating those players?

Thanks!

Will the game scale for high DPI devices such as Microsoft Surface?

We always try to optimize simulation speed (and we did for FHM 3) but we also build in new stuff as well. FHM is not really meant to be a fast-sim game, so if you play with all leagues playable, it will always take some time to go through a season.

For new created player, what options do you look for?

In sandbox mode can you

control every team team within it, so that I can simulate the current season using real life lineups, line combos, etc. That's the option I'm hoping for.

So glad to hear this!
I simply don't believe a game that you can fast sim through a season in minutes has the level of detail and attention to detail that I'm looking for

Playing FHM 2 as warm up for upcoming release of 3, and I really hope there are no more injuires that are 4 or more weeks long. I mean in FHM 2 those injuries happened on almost daily basis.
