Creating a fantasy draft with real players
Hello everybody, I'm new to OOTP 14 (I have played iootp on the ipad for the past 2 years so I am somewhat familiar with the series). I am trying to use advanced mode to create a customized league and set up a fantasy draft, however, every time I try this the game ends up generating fictional players. Is there any way that I can create an advanced custom league with real player names? Thanks!

I think what you need to do is start a 2013 MLB game (or a historical game if you want to use players from a different year), release all players in league setup from MLB and all associated minors, create your custom league, delete MLB and all associated minors, choose to hold a fantasy draft in your custom league.
I've never done it, personally, but that's how I've read others do it. I think. |

Figured it out
Thanks again for your reply! I actually found out an easier way to do the fantasy draft.
1. Start a new major league game. 2. Go to the major league menu. 3. Under the advanced heading, click on league setup 4. On the left hand side of the page there will be an option that says SCHEDULE FANTASY DRAFT. Note: this must be done during the preseason. |
