Former Cub and Red (1950-1955) Bob Borkowski is the latest player to be listed on Wikipedia's oldest living major leaguers list. He is listed at the bottom of the list at #105. (He turns 88 in four days on on January 27). Do members have any photos or baseball cards of him to post? Thanks!

Here are a couple with the Cubs and one each with the Reds, Dodgers and Portland Beavers.

I was not aware of Bob's brief time with the Dodgers - Thanks!
Could he possibly have been on their '55 World Series roster and gone unused in The Series? I see no record of his release during 1955 by the Dodgers after they acquired him that June.

Borkowski was sold to St. Paul on 15-Jul-1955. He and Pete Wojey, who did not even make it into a major league game in 1955, were each given a small "cash award" similar to the amount given to non-player team personnel after the Series.
