SBL (60+ seasons) Looking for a few new GMs

SBL is looking for some fresh blood after a couple of recent retirements.

We’ve been running since league (and actual) year 2013, and have just transitioned to OOTP 27. League rules adhere pretty closely to the current MLB ruleset, with a few exceptions to handle situations that the game is bad at (around contracting, for example). We also use a running 5-year win average to determine divisional structure, so that teams are placed with other teams on similar trajectories and to ensure everyone always has a chance to be competitive within their division.

We’re just wrapping up the 2077 season and have GM openings in:

• Cincinnati - if you like a rebuild, this is the team for you.
• Tampa Bay - made the playoffs as a WC team out of the bottom division this year

Regular season sims are 1 week of in-game time on a 2 days on/1 off schedule. During the offseason, we try to sim every day to keep things moving. Since we’re just hitting the offseason, now’s a great time to join and get familiar with a team.

The league is active and talkative, with a welcoming Slack instance for general chatter and trading.
