is ootp support really this bad? GLORP## 4799 ##

playin and on the board for years and years and years...

had a great pirates franchise goin, 2024 15-7 finally
got my 2020 #1 pick, petey halpin up, he's doin great...
got a 30/30 shortstop edgar barrios whos killin it...great staff...

and then GLORP it all crashes...submitted a ticket in early june...
still haven't heard anything back other than a couple early
interactions.... kinda upset....

is it always this pathetic????

I've never used it, but based on what I see here it is very good if a little slow to respond sometimes. What transpired in those early interactions?

Alex asked for my save file and said he would look at it...

uploaded it to the ftp site, and after a week or so he said he'd look at it...

3 weeks pass and nothing... nicely asked multiple times for an update...

crashed? .... did you try to use the auto restore feature to see if the game could be reclaimed? Or was well it beyond that stage?

i doubt it will be that simple, but while you wait for support, might be worth trying, or not.

Thanks, did all that already -- no luck... pretty good at this tech crap and think I've done all i can do..prolly time to just write it off and start a new one with even more backups....glorp

but still, cmon ootp guys...yall know we all tryin' to quarantine and keep ourselves occupied... don't just blow your loyalist supporters off!!!!

Really sorry about that!

We're currently entirely revamping the support department and training some new folks, and in the process the team has been a bit slow getting back to some issues just because of there being so much going on.

Hopefully that should start improving very soon as we get everyone up to speed and integrated.

I brought your specific issue up with our head of support as well, so hopefully we'll be able to expedite things there and we'll do our best to get things sorted out for you before too long.
