game stalled!

After starting the 70 season, I entered the 74 season on Aug 1. I can't get passed that date. I get the blue circle, game not responding message. I put a lot of time into the seasons, playing the Bruins games out rather than simulating the game. I thought it was strange the draft had 17, 18, and 19, year old players in it. It did have these young players before. I am not sure that was the problem. Is there any fix? You click the screen it turns white. I am very disappointed after the time and effort I put into this historical simulation.

Probably going to need you to upload the save. You could try your rollback first and see if that fixes it, but we'll likely need to a look.

Also moving this to the Bug Report forum.

I restarted my computer. I got past 8/1 by using a weeks sim. However, I was stuck on 8/5. But when I checked to see w where it saved. The game saved on 8/2 and is no longer stalled.

Never mind. The game is still stalling. Where do I find the saved game?

To find and zip your file:

- Start FHM
- Click on Settings
- Click on Troubleshooting
- Click on Open Customizable Data Folder.* This should then open to where FHM is storing your data.
- Click on saved_games
- Pick whatever folder has the saved game we would like to see, right click on it with your mouse, and click copy.* Paste it to another place, like your desktop.- Once it has made a copy, open the file (example: MyFirstCampaign.lg )* - find the folder called 'Graphics' (should be right at the top), right click, and delete the folder.
- Once the deletion has occurred, go back just to wherever you copied the file (like the desktop), right click on the whole folder* (example: MyFirstCampaign.lg )
- and you want to compress the file/zip it.* If you do not have a zip program, I would recommend 7zip.* It is free, easy to use and install.
- Once it has zipped, then upload it to our FTP site, DropBox, FileDropper or Google Drive and send me the link.

Stalled game!

I can't upload the game. The file is to big. In addition, the problem is not just in my 70 file it is in my 69 game. I need more direction in what to do. I tried to go through winzip the EM would not send.

Once more, what file do I send in. The entire 70 file is to big to send in via my EM or yours. I need some kind of response.

On the other hand, You can have my old license, I can delete this game, You can give me a new license and I can get a fresh game. The only problem is I put some much time in that last 70 file. It's discouraging to start over.

Dropbox is a website, and it's yours, not mine.

A new license isn't going to fix whatever the issue is. Upload the file please.

I can't use my dropbox. I really don't know how to use it. I used it once to download a few items years ago. I tried to get into it now and it would not take the my gmail email that I have, which I don't use. Is there another way to send the file?

I don't think hitting share to the above address is working. It continues to show some kind of process, three dots moving, but it has been a long time. Frankly I have been working on this issue for a long time, just to send a file. There has to be an easier way!

OK, we were able to fix it, it turned out to be an odd problem where the contract negotiation data for AI teams was never getting cleared, and eventually grew to such an enormous size it made the game impossible to continue. We'll have a fix for it in the next update, but in the meantime we've fixed your save - I've shared it to you on dropbox, so let me know if you don't get the download link in your email. And to prevent this from happening again to you before the update, you should exit and restart the game prior to loading a game or creating a new one.
