Ootp 19 - cash league being formed

It's been long sought after, and after years it's coming to light. A OOTP league brought to you by the leadership of the BRHL online empire.

We will mimic our hockey league in that there will be 1 sim per day, meaning 1 year per year.

Players will get NEW OOTP rates each year, there is no internal development. Drafts will be 10 rounds long, and will be from REAL LIFE draft classes.

Each team will have a AAA-AA-A affiliate, which just have randomized names now, you can change these as you wish.

Teams begin with completely even Fan Interest. Fan Loyalty, Market Size, Stadium Size etc. Basically there is NO advantage to being one team over another. Teams also have the same media contracts and spending budgets to begin with. These will all change throughout history, depending on how you manage your team.

Also this is a CASH league, in addition to getting the new OOTP game each year you need to pay your $50 entry fee each year. Upon first entry into the league you are required to pay for two years up front, which ensures we have only dedicated GM's joining. Payouts are displayed on the message board, all league entries are paid out for accomplishments with in the league.

Teams will be assigned once we have passed certain deadlines for payment etc. So sign up and get paid today.

As a long time member of the hockey league, I can tell you that you will find the leadership of this league to be the most active and most dedicated that you will ever see in an OOTP league (ie 1 sim per day). Get involved at the ground floor and sign up!

For those worried about a "scam" we've been running a cash league in the STHS hockey world for 12 years now, never once had any conflicts over cash.

Remember though - all teams start with same fan interest, market size, fan loyalty, seating capacity etc. So they're on even playing field.

But with stadium seating, fan interest, fan loyalty, market size etc. all the same, it's not like any franchise is better than another.

Great concept. I wanted to do something similar, but use the cash towards trophies, etc. Quite frankly, the cost of running our website and the potential cost of third-party add-ons adds up. But cash rewards for wins/placing are a nice idea too.

If only there was a way to monetize these leagues so that it wasn't necessarily the GMs paying into it...
