Forums: Forums League Description / Rules: League Rules, Roster, and Description Reports: BNN Home Page Current Version: OOTP 18 Since OOTP 13, The Dugout has been a well oiled machine. Now running on OOTP 18, we’ve been through almost 60 full seasons (started in 2012). We started with all the modern day MLB teams and rosters, but have since evolved to the point where there are currently no real MLB players on any roster. While we do reflect modern baseball, we have changed things up a bit. We did some realignment prior to the start of the 2044 and 2067 seasons as well as some expansion (check out our Reports site for more info on that). Despite being a fairly large and long running league, GM turnover is minimal at best. We still have 15+ managers that have been in the league for 20+ seasons. Currently we’re on a 24 hour schedule. We sim 10 (sometimes 11 depending on how months end) days at a time during the regular season. All of our sims are live (we’ve had one sim that was not live in the past 20 seasons) which start at 1 PM EST daily. The league itself is also highly modified, with many out of game features we’ve added and track via our forums and OOTPOU (including a draft lottery, relocation, hybrid budget system using owners, market size, and performance, etc.). At the same time we’ve made great strides to keep the league as realistic as possible as the important and basic functions of the MLB are still in tact. We’re currently looking for active and mature members to round our roster. You want the Dugout. The digital age has evolved from playing playing ascii rock paper sciccors to the finest that 2017 can offer - The Dugout League. Amazing contributions from esteemed pundits like the (extremely) lucky and lovely(not even after 15 pints) Fishdock, Lou the literal genius, Roggie who dominates, NeuroticTruth who understood the dynamics and passed the torch with grace to the current greatest alive commish Hal9100 who deals with Google AI precision but the human touch of Jesus. Also Jeff Hartle who is keeps the world alive with wit and candour desired or not. mogriffjr deserves all the respect as an original member as well as other legendaries like Sonn Since we have like 30 members I'm worried about leaving out people including some personal favourites, so current WC champ - text me maybe - in anger Facilities: A php state of the art paid package - combined with the blowup startup Slack. Rules: It's fast and furious. Unlike the movies they make sense and aren't tedious. Come for the baseball, stay for the comments! Of note this league provided a fallback for my drunken antics, advice for a gf, tinder advice and abuse, book advice, music advice as well as good old fashioned fun including ripping the piss from each other and endless laughs and exhilaration. We do provide serious moments too |

This league is amazing and I highly recommend it. The people are fun, Slack makes it easy to strike up a debate, throw some shade or just talk about random stuff. Also the actual league is very competitive as there are barely any repeat championship winners. 10/10, 5 stars, and two thumbs up
