A Few Bugs

First off, thank you guys for everything. I got on OOTP in 6.5 and have bought every OOTP since IX. Thanks for having the willpower and passion to keep bringing us a better game each year. I have not yet gotten to play 18 much (duh) but already I've seen so many subtle improvements that I've been reminded of how lucky we are to benefit from these efforts.

So, I'm running a historical (starting 1901), fictional league with promotion/relegation (I know, didn't make it complicated enough). I've run into three bugs and one . . . opportunity.

Bug 1: In my association playoffs it seems to have the home/away reversed. When I assign the Bronze League #1 to be at Gold League #6 (2 home, 3 away, 2 home) the opposite happens. The same does not happen with teams from the same league.

Bug 2: In the association settings I've selected the draft to be by league and then by record. This does not seem to be happening; the sort is only by record, regardless of league.

Bug 3: There are times when I try and shop a player that the AI gives me a viable trade target, I click 'select' and the trade loads without my player on my side of the trade. And when I drag him on, I get a 'this player is already involved in a trade' error.

Opportunity 1: I'm running a historical league, but with financial settings equivalent to the modern MLB, just 0.03148 of it (assuming 3% inflation, so that's 1/(1.03^117). (By the way, can I just say how great it is that the game is built to generate it's own inflation if asked? Sexy!) This has worked with one exception. I've set the slot signing amount at $47221 (again, which is proportional to modern day, just inflation-adjusted back to 1901). But when I make the amateur draft shared through my association, the slot value defaults to historical 1901 $s, which is more like $750 or something. And there's no way (that I've figured out) to adjust the slot amount to anything other than the historical value. A way to do so would be ideal.

Again, may have missed some things, but I wanted to bring these up. My saved file is History ProDem Game.lg.zip.

Supplemental complaint; in the association history you show past winners on the side of the playoff screen (nice!) but where it displays the team and their league, it shows their current league, not their league at the time. So if Louisville runs the table, from Bronze to champion, (and is then promoted to Silver) the history shows 'Louisville (Silver)', even though they came from Bronze that year.

That may be working as intended, but I'd prefer it to show the league origin at the time, not the present league.

Also, the sim option 'sim to next playoff round', when used in an association playoff, appears to just sim to the end of the playoffs.
