Draftee is uber awesome?

Check out this guy's high school stats. He was so awesome that he gave up NEGATIVE runs in his games.

And that's even with giving up 4 HRs.

Wow, those runs must have been really really especially unearned.

He must have had the 2013 Detroit Tigers defense behind him. All the errors broke the box scores.

I wouldn't have drafted him. His movement potential is so bad he's gonna be a HR machine in the majors.

Cool uniform. And he does appear to possess a great work ethic, so I wouldn't rule out, coupled with good coaching, that movement potential increasing. OTOH, with a K rate like this kid's putting up, there may not be that many opportunities for the HR, if his control and stuff keep pace with his current production.

Dude was born nine months after Jim Kirk finished his five year mission. This is not a coincidence.

...

Kirk's 5 year mission was from 2264 to 2269. This dude was born in 2271.

And, just because Memory Alpha is nearly as cool as Baseball-Reference...

Five-year mission - Memory Alpha, the Star Trek Wiki

It was 2265-2270.

I didn't draft him. I just sit back and watch these Fallout people play ball and get eaten by deathclaws.

I didn't watch Voyager, but wasn't there an episode that said it ended in 2269?

I guess this confirms that those stats on draftees are completely meaningless.
