Fulfilling autographs
I was wondering if any of you knew how ball players fulfill all of their autographs for cards? Do they do it at home in the offseason? Off day during spring training / regular season?
I was really curious since some of them have SO many to do, just how does it get done? |

I dont think they sign that many do they? Plus have you seen some of their autos, there just a scribble. I once saw something on TV once, no idea what the programme was but it was Spring Training and someone put a box of baseballs on the table and told players to sign them. Maybe that's how they do them, someone from say Topps goes to ST with the cards to sign.
Bit OT but I went watching the Bears/Cowboys back in the 80s at Wembley, well back then the locker rooms were small so the Bears/Cowboys used Wembley Arena as locker rooms so they had buses to ferry them to the stadium. Anyways I'm near the Cowboys bus in the stadium car park, most of the fans had left when the players came out so I taps Tony Dorsett on the shoulder for an autograph the look on his face, I think he thought I was going to mug him |
