Ballpark Factors in Historical League with Random Players

When I create a historical league using random players from various years, the game sets all the ballpark factors to 1.000. I assume this means that Coors Field will play the same as Dodger Stadium.

If I manually change these, the game resets them to 1.000 at some point. Is there a way to stop this from happening. I want different factors for different parks.

Also, if I change the park (i.e. Kingdome to Safeco Field) the game resets the name and the park factors.

Is there a setting somewhere to prevent this from happening?
