The Chicago and Charleston owners have elected to take over Bronx and Richardson City respectively – leaving two very good, maintained teams open.

Here's the list with free agency opening tomorrow:

Los Angeles
Charleston
Chicago City

We're a writing league that's been doing this for a long time. Check us out!

Hi I am interested in the LA team. I am new to the game so I might not be the best but I guarantee I will stay active. PM me if there's an opening that I can join. Thanks

Looks like a great league - Lots of feedback, and the site looks cool. Are Great Northern Still available?

Can Teams be renamed/Moved if desired - Not saying I would right away, but just if wanted to later....?

THUR (2/18): Sim One week of Spring Training (Spring Training sim 2 of 3)
FRI (2/19): Sim Final week of Spring Training (Spring Training sim 3 of 3) to Opening Day

MONDAY 2/22 Opening Day!

Open teams are:

Mile High- Stagnant around .500. A couple prospects of worth in the system. Needs a strategic owner that can make all the parts work and compete.

San Diego- Rebuilding. Has the tools in the farm to either develop or trade. Also a very high draft pick in this years draft. Available players on the FA market if you intend on a quick resurrection but this team may need a more patient, or influential hand in the turnaround.

Hawaii- A reclamation project that has finally come to fruition. Owner left to tend to a more struggling/rebuilding team for the health of the league. A great young team, won their division and made it all the way to game 7 of the World Series before losing. Stable farm system with promising prospects.

You can find more about the USOB in the previous page. We are a unique league founded by 8 players from a folded league. It is fictional and we pride on being unique and creative. We have a league backstory, spearheaded by one of our founding fathers that we hope owners can build upon. Relocating and rebranding is encouraged, so owners feel that their team is truly their own. We are active on the message board and encourage participation in team articles and the like. In doing so, it adds to the league as well as rewards you with "CP" Points, which can be attributed to your prospects to help their development so if you are stuck in a rut, you won't have to wallow in the muck without optimism.

I am still interested. Would really like to give Hawaii a shot......Does this league want owners or not? I've never heard back from this Will guy who was in charge of things.

May 2029

A little over a month into the 2029 season and we have some openings.

Havana, Hawaii, Mile High, and San Diego are vacant teams that could use a GM with direction.

Havana is stuck in the transitional phase. But has a lot of money coming off the books this offseason and some young players to build around.

Hawaii is a contending team for the last 3 years and looks to continue that trend. Needs an owner to put his own stamp on the team and hopefully gets over that hump. Off to a bad start this season.

Mile High is a rebuild project that an owner can really make his own mark. Not a lot of high end prospects in the system, but has some young talent already in the majors. Could craft deals for prospects and draft the future.

San Diego is a rebuild that has a stable of promising prospects.

I spent some time in this league some time back. A well run league at the top with a dedicated core of GM's. Great back story.
