50 team schedule request - 162 games ()
After my first iteration didn't really lend itself to any takers, I've retooled my thoughts. How about this proposal?
50 Teams, 2 Sub leagues, 5x5 162 games, interleague Would this be feasible? schedule layout:

Im about half way through. I feel I have the right structure, its a matter of scheduling the games out from here. Will take some time but I should be able to get it done.

So its done. This really was the longest schedule I had to make. Its not perfect, but its pretty solid.
162 games 50 teams sl1 25 55555 sl2 25 55555 Play four division teams 18 times 9h/9a Play 20 conferences teams 3 times 0h/3a or 3h/0a Play 5 interleague teams (one division) 6 times 3h/3a The fact there are 25 teams per conference (means at least 1 IL per grouping) And 5 teams per division (means at least one conference game per grouping) No way to create rotating schedules. It would be 5 completely independent schedules. It can be done, but I'm not making 4 more of these so it goes 191 days, has a 4 day all star break in july , AS game on Tuesday, teams off Mon-Thurs I had to get creative in order to have at least 1 IL game per week, and the at least one division game was difficult as well. Here's how i figure it out. 54 series needed. 25 teams in a conference. I did a 26 team rotation in a schedule builder ( you play teams 2-26 (if you are team 1) in a 25 block rotation. When ever you play "team 26", you play an IL series. So when team 5 played "team 26" in the 25 team rotation, they played team 30 so if it was 1v2, 3v4, 5v26, etc The games would be 1v2 3v4 5v30 26v27 28v29 and the rest, basically taking the 13 games, making one interleague, and the other 12, added 25 to each team to get the 2nd conferences games. That was 25 of the blocks That covered all the conference play, and 1 IL series for each team. Next I knew I needed 5 more division games per opponent (1 played 2 one time in the 25 team rotation above) so I ran the same game. 1v2 3v4 5v ? 6v7 8v9 10v? I had a 5 groups of 5, where 1 would play 2, 3, 4, 5 and one of the IL games vs 26-30 I rotated those and copied for the rest of the teams. That was 25 more blocks, that left 4 series of ALL interleague. So how I set it up was this 4 IL series 5 conference series blocks 5 division series blocks 10 conference series blocks 10 division series blocks 10 conference series blocks 10 division series blocks so you get all IL to start, and then it mixes between conf and division play, with 6 IL scattered throughout the rest of the season. The other issue is its all 3 game series. so I left Fri-Sun as everyone plays. I set up 6 games on each Monday, and 19 games on Tuesday So most teams have Monday off, and a few Thursdays off each year. It runs 191 days, starts late march on a Tuesday, ends early October on a Wednesday Hope it works out for you, I know I worked hard on this one

Sorry to necro an old thread, but I have a league with the same setup. I think that it would be possible to create a rotating schedule by taking the teams from one subleague and adding 5 to each of them (or subtracting 20 if they're in the highest-numbered division), then doing this two more times. I'm probably going to try this; if anyone's interested I can post the results when I'm done.
