Thanks for the heads up. Still looking for the replay of when Chris was on ... wasn't an MP3 of it supposed to be posted?

There was technical difficulties when Chris was on. Even if an MP3 was posted, the audio was really messed up and you wouldn't really be able to hear much.

We'll have Chris on again very soon to talk about the new TBCB, and give you guys a heads-up. The day we interviewed him, our tower was all screwed up ,and so was the show. Only time it's ever happened, which bites the big one.
Our show is gaining momentum pretty quickly. During our six weeks on the air, we've interviewed Riddick Bowe, Jack Mosley, Ricardo Cortes, Miguel Espino, Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero, Carina Moreno. Today we were supposed to have Luis Colazzo, but he stiffed us, so we'll hopefully get him another time. We also made a connection this week with the founder of the Retired Boxers Foundation (who was on our show this morning), Alex Ramos. He says he can set us up with almost any big-name ex-fighter we want in future weeks, which is exciting. If any of you guys want to suggest a good guest -- boxer, trainer, manager, referee, announcer, boxing writer, past or present -- and know how to contact that person, send me an e-mail at dtaylor@montereyherald.com. So, tune in, guys. This is starting to get fun. Dennis Taylor co-host of Ringside Boxing Show, 9-10 a.m. (West Coast time) Sundays at www.knry.com. |

Litzau, The Ghost on Sunday's Ringside Show
IBF world featherweight champion Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero will be the in-studio guest Sunday (9-10 a.m. West Coast time) on The Ringside Boxing Show, a weekly radio program co-hosted by Dave Marzetti and Monterey County Herald boxing columnist Dennis Taylor (who also happens to be a Title Bout Championship Boxing afficianado).
Meanwhile, Jason "The American Boy" Litzau, scheduled to fight Guerrero on Feb. 29 in Lemoore, is expected to call into the show for a telephone interview. Recent guests on The Ringside Boxong Show have included two-time world heavyweight champion Riddick Bowe, two-time Trainer of the Year Jack Mosley, female world champions Carina Moreno and Eliza Olson, and referee Marty Sammon, among many others. The show can be heard anywhere in the world via the Internet at www.knry.com, and listeners can join the conversation by calling 1-800-887-3414. |
