Combine Results vs Scouted Ratings

All of my coaches currently have Scouting ratings of 75+ so let's just assume we're dealing w/ pretty accurate scouted ratings...

The guide says that combine results correlate to player ratings and while not an exact correlation, it's a very strong one because the combine numbers in FOF8 replace the absence of "film" you have on a prospect.

Yet, I'll see players w/ elite combine numbers but low projected ratings (i.e. QB's graded 90+ in the "Position-Specific Drill" but low Accuracy and Timing when scouted) and vice versa (70-something in the "Position-Specific Drill" but high Accuracy and Timing when scouted)

I understand there are "workout warriors" that end up being complete busts (i.e. Vernon Gholston) and vice versa... but which of these should I trust more? My coaches w/ high scouting ratings or the combine numbers themselves?

Depends on the scouting accuracy you set when you started your game for one thing. If you set the scout accuracy rating low then bars seem to become more important. Static bars are also very important and certain bars are very important to each position. I am not expert but some on here are and will probably help you more. FOFC has a lot of good stuff for help as well.

Bars scouted 1st and foremost, specially if your combine accuracy isn't 100.

Preciate the heads up on FOFC! I didn't even know there was a dedicated forum to FOF that was still active.

Good deal. I have combine accuracy set to default 50. I've mostly been relying on my coaches anyway, so that's good to know. Thanks for the help guys.
