Pitcher's stamina impact?

I'm new to the game. Here's one question:

Does the pitcher's effectiveness diminish as he goes deeper in game. Is that what the colored bar indicates? If pitcher starts with "60" rating for stuff what is the "stuff" as he goes from green to yellow?

Or am I just looking at this all wrong?

Thanks.

Inside the game engine. pitcher effectiveness does decline. The symptoms are classic, more pitches/pa, more walks, more hits. Just like RL you must decide what your limit is. I've experienced both sides, the stressful success of sticking with your ace, and the inevitable disappointment when you go too long and the game turns on your paralysis. Pay attention to your batting innings, short innings have an effect on your pitcher. The clock does matter.

Thanks for that info. Decline in effectiveness is not quantified numberically, like sliding form a "60" stuff to a 50. However, the green yellow red bar indicate effectiveness. Yes?

Yes but it is a coarse scale and there may be an effect based on how many good pitches each pitcher has.

Edit: actually not sure. I misread the question. Stuff will decline but whether it goes from 60 to 50 I'm not sure. Times through the lineup may improve hitter ratings too.
