Major Roles

Hi Everybody!

Im fairly new to this game, though I am enjoying it very much.

I have a question about player roles, I created a few new players in my league but each time I try to pick a major role for them, they get unhappy, this happens for every role except two way forward.

Is there any reason for this?

Is there a thread or guide explaining topics like this?

The underlying player type that determines which major roles are acceptable to a player will get assigned randomly when a new player is created. It can't be edited, so when you create a new player check what the default Major Role assigned to him is, and that'll give you an idea of what he'll be happy with (and if you want him to be a particular type, say an offensive defenceman, you may want to generate new players until you get one of that type.)

I know this isnt the wish list thread, but is there any chance that this could be edited in the new version?

Yeah, that may be doable. Probably need to make it a little more user-friendly with better names for the player types, the naming system for wasn't intended for anything other than internal use so it's not that descriptive.
