20 Team schedule needed..

20 teams, 2 subleagues.

Sub league 1 : 1 divisions of 8 teams -> 8 teams
Sub league 2 : 2 divisions of 6 teams -> 12 teams

154 game schedule. interleague allowed. having all-star break!

On sat / sun games day, othes night.

Sub league 1
play own league 16 times(8H, 8A) 7 teams * 16 times = 112 games

3 teams (any 3 of 12) * 3 times(3H) = 9 games
3 teams (any 3 of 12) * 3 times(3A) = 9 games
6 teams (any 6 of 12) * 4 times(2H,2A) = 24 games

Sub league 2
play own division 18 times (9 H, 9 A) 5 teams * 18 times = 90 games
play other division 6 times (3 H, 3 A) 6 teams * 6 times = 36 games

2 teams (any 2 of 8) * 3 times(3A) = 6 games

Such precise symmetry requires a lot of 2-game series and thus does not really allow for regular 2-series per week layout. The games just have to fall where they may without much concern for the day of the week.

My more fundamental concern is about a league structure with different number of divisions in the two subleagues. At least in the past it was not possible for that to work (the playoffs could not function properly). With playoffs now customizable to some degree, I think this may not be a problem any more. In fact, I want to say that I have been told that, but I do not remember for sure.

Since there are some others ahead in the queue, I would like it confirmed that a league configuration like this is indeed fully functional now (at least OOTP9).

Thank you for your concern.
League structure that was impossible.

I'm sorry for not testing.

League structure be modified :

20 teams, 2 subleagues.

Sub league 1 : 2 divisions of 4 teams -> 8 teams
Sub league 2 : 2 divisions of 6 teams -> 12 teams

2-game series. It's okay!

Give me an update if another problem being..

# - first subleague has 2 divisions of 4 teams
# - second subleague has 2 divisions of 6 teams
# adjustments can be made to fit to different divisional configurations

#
# No homestands or roadtrips longer than 15 games
# No team plays more than 15 straight days without an offday
#
# All weekday game times set at 7:05pm
# All weekend game times set at 2:05pm
