Quickstart: European Baseball League - fictional major league based in Europe

Hi, I hope some of you are bored during the offseason and want to try my custom fictional league.

European Baseball League - Originally founded in 1903 as International League of Baseball.
International League of Baseball existed before the Second World War, suspending during the First World War. At one point there were 22 teams competing in the pre-war era. However, most of these didn’t survive the war.
In 1946, the league was re-established in its modern form. Only 9 teams which started the 1939 season returned in 1946: Amsterdam Koninlijke H.V., Amsterdam Zwart-Blauwen H.V., Bordeaux Aquitaine B.C., Brussels B.a.C.C., Copenhagen B.A., Geneva Alpine B.C., Paris La Seine, and Roma A.B.. They were joined by a new team, Liverpool.
The league steadily expanded in the post-war era, adding new teams:
1949: Barcelona B.C. and Edinburgh B.S.
1959: Geneva Alpines and Lisbon Sailors
1961: Luxembourg Dukes and Rome Fire
1971: London Stars and Stockholm Thunderbolts
1976: Madrid Hawks and Milan Zephyrs
1981: Antwerp Cannons, Helsinki Blizzard, Manchester Roses and Oslo Vikings
1994: Berlin Bears and Vienna Music
1997: Krakow Dragons and Prague Elephants
2011: Rotterdam Admirals and Zagreb Bees
Currently EBL has 2 sub-leagues: European League and International League, divided into 3 divisions each, 30 teams. Plays 162 games with a heavy emphasis on interleague play.
Three minor levels:

AAA - named Development level, 30 teams in 3 leagues
AA - named Cadet level, 30 teams in 3 leagues
A - named Junior level, 60 teams in 6 leagues

Every team in EBL has custom logos and home/away jerseys, alternates and minor league jerseys WIP.
Game starts on December 2nd, 2022.

EL North

Amsterdam Lions
Established in 1903, 51 playoff appearances, 13 championships.
The most successful team in history, and one of three surviving original teams. Perennial contender, but with the last title coming in 2003. They won their division every season for the past 12 years, and are favourites again in 2023.
Star player: 33-year-old CF Johan Wislander from Sweden.

Antwerp Cannons
Established in 1981, 13 playoff appearances, 1 championship.
With its greatest success coming in the late nineties, Antwerp is currently in the process of coming back to the playoffs after 8 years.
Star player: 25-year-old 3B Thomas Hunziker from Switzerland.

Edinburgh Unicorns
Established in 1949, 13 playoff appearances, 5 championships.
21st century hasn't been kind to the Unicorns, who haven't experienced postseason baseball since 2001, when they won the title. In 2022 they finished last in EL North.
Star player: 29-year-old RF Leonardo Rea from Italy.

London Monarchs
Established in 1903, 22 playoff appearances, 9 championships.
One of the original teams, and one of more competitive historically. Their last successful period was an eight year stretch between 2004 and 2011, when they won their last two championships. Currently in rebuild mode.
Star player: 27-year-old RF Thodoris Proios from Greece.

Oslo Vikings
Established in 1981, 21 playoff appearances, 1 championship.
They won their only championship in 1988, shortly after joining the league, but they are a consistently dangerous team. They finished 2nd in EL North for the last 4 years.

Star player: 24-year-old RF Julio Rubio from Mexico.

EL South

Geneva Alpines
Established in 1959, 4 playoff appearances, 1 championship.
Successors of the Geneva team which relocated to Marseille in 1953. Despite their single championship, the Alpines have been struggling on the field. They are experiencing the longest playoff drought in the EBL, not making an appearance since 1985. Geneva finished last in their division in previous six years.
Star player: 26-year-old SP Nikolaos Vasilis from Greece.

Lisbon Sailors
Established in 1959, 8 playoff appearances, 3 championships.
Isolated in the southwestern corner of Europe among the EL teams, the Sailors have achieved recent success, winning the title in 2019. They won 85 games in 2022, enough for a wildcard spot - and an exit in the first round.
Star player: 29-year-old SS Luuk van der Meer from the Netherlands.

Marseille Ravens
Established in 1910, 19 playoff appearances, 4 championships.
Relocated from Geneva in 1953, they entered the best period in the team's history, winning 3 titles in an 8-year stretch. They surprisingly won their fourth championship in the pandemic-shortened season of 2020.
Star player: 27-year-old LF Alfred Becker from Germany.

Paris Revolution
Established in 1908, 29 playoff appearances, 10 championships
Champions in 2021, the Revolution is one of the most successful teams in EBL history. Winning their first championship in 1922, and enjoying their greatest success in the 50’s and 70’s, they are one of the teams always ready to seriously contend for the title.
Star player: 28-year-old CF Logan Reimer from Aruba.

Rome Emperors
Established in 1920, 53 playoff appearances, 10 championships
The reigning champions of the EBL. They enjoyed their greatest success in the post-war years, winning 7 pennants in a row and 6 championships. Losing several influential players in the offseason, they might struggle to achieve another success in 2023.
Star player: 31-year-old CF Espen Kjelsrud form Norway.

EL East

Krakow Dragons
Established in 1997, 11 playoff appearances, 1 championship
One of the younger teams in EBL, but claiming legacy of a successful Cracovia team of the interwar period. Won the league in 2017, they are historically one of the better teams in the East, however they finished last in 2022, winning only 68 games.
Star player: 36-year-old 1B Tony Arriaga from Puerto Rico.

Munich Panthers
Established in 1949, 10 playoff appearances, no championships
Originally in Barcelona, they became the first German team of the post-war era when they relocated to Munich in 1965. Despite their long history, the Panthers failed to make the mark on the league. The recent years show promise, however, with the Panthers making the playoffs 6 times in the last decade, and winning the division 4 times.
Star player: 27-year-old LF Michael Singer from the USA.

Vienna Music
Established in 1994, 16 playoff appearances, 1 championship
Vienna has been a consistently successful team, making the playoffs in most of the years they competed in the EBL. They won their sole championship in 2010, and won another pennant in 2002.
Star player: 25-year-old RF Antonio Tenucci from Italy.

Stockholm Thunderbolts
Established in 1971, 9 playoff appearances, 1 championship
After joining the league they failed to make their mark for over a decade. However, they achieved a consistent success in the late 80’s and early 90’s, producing their only championship in 1995. Since then, they made occasional appearances in the playoffs, last of them in 2018.
Star player: 23-year-old LF Carmelo Mazzeo from Italy.

Zagreb Bees
Established in 2011, 1 playoff appearance, no championships
One of the last two teams to join the league, and last alphabetically, the Bees haven’t yet hit their stride competitively. They made their only playoff appearance in 2016, the only time they finished higher than 4th in the EL East.
Star player: 26-year-old RF Jeffrey Currie from Canada.

IL North

Dublin Shamrocks
Established in 1925, 35 playoff appearances, 4 championships
Originally from Copenhagen, they relocated to Ireland in 1961. Since the 70’s, the Shamrocks have been one of the most successful teams in the International League. They last won a championship in 2009, however they consistently made the playoffs. They won the pennant in 2022, however they have been swept by the Rome Emperors.
Star player: 33-year-old SP Edward Knoller from Germany.

London Stars
Established in 1971, 32 playoff appearances, 5 championships
The younger of the London teams, they quickly established themselves as one of the most competitive teams in the league. They missed the playoffs only 6 times in the 21st century, and won their 5th championship in 2014.
Star player: 30-year-old SP Gatis Mazais from Latvia.

Luxembourg Dukes
Established in 1961, 11 playoff appearances, 2 championships
Representing the smallest nation in the EBL, the Dukes struggled for long periods of their history. They last won the championship in 2007. They appeared in the playoffs in 2021, however in 2022 they were only 4th in IL North.
Star player: 27-year-old CF Justin Hogedoon from the Netherlands.

Manchester Roses
Established in 1981, 5 playoff appearances, no championships
The only team in the IL North without a championship, the Roses are a historically struggling team. They finished last in the division in 2022.
Star player: 28-year-old SP Mate Mandic from Croatia.

Rotterdam Admirals
Established in 2011, 3 playoff appearances, 1 championship
One of the two teams to expand the league in 2011, the Admirals won the championship during their first playoff appearance in 2018. They played in the playoffs 3 times in last 5 years.
Star player: 30-year-old 3B Shela Macharia from Kenya.

IL South

Athens Flames
Established in 1961, 4 playoff appearances, 1 championship
Originally the IL counterpart to the Emperors, they failed to compete for the share of the market, which forced them to relocate to Greece in 1974. The Flames are a historically underachieving team, they have however won the championship in 1985, their second trip to the playoffs.
Star player: 25-year-old C Niko Stephenson from Scotland.

Bordeaux Waves
Established in 1927, 27 playoff appearances, 9 championships
Historically the most successful team in the International League. Enjoyed a period of dominance in 2010’s, placing 1st in the division 5 times in a row and winning 3 championships. However, they’re currently in the middle of a painful rebuild, finishing 5th last two years, and winning only 57 games in 2022, the least in the EBL.
Star player: 33-year-old 1B Stew Williams from the USA.

Madrid Hawks
Established in 1976, 22 playoff appearances, 3 championships
In the recent years the Hawks dominated the division, winning it 3 times in last 4 seasons. One of the teams most often appearing in the playoffs, winning their last championship in 2012.
Star player: 29-year-old SS Bertrand Doyon from France.

Milan Zephyrs
Established in 1976, 21 playoff appearances, 1 championship
Historically one of the most competitive teams in IL South. Between 1983 and 2012 they missed the playoffs only 9 times. However, they’ve been struggling to make the postseason in the past decade, not appearing since 2012.
Star player: 26-year-old 3B Marcin Zajac from Poland.

Paris Angels
Established in 1903, 17 playoff appearances, 1 championship
Originally from Brussels, they moved to their current home as the second team in Paris in 1977. Despite being one of the three original teams to establish ILoB, they failed to replicate the success of their fellow original teams, Lions and Monarchs. Their only championship came in 1954, while they were still playing in Brussels.
Star player: 27-year-old 2B Everardo Rios from Spain.

IL East

Berlin Bears
Established in 1994, 12 playoff appearances, no championships
Despite not winning a championship, the Bears have been a competitive team in recent times, making playoffs 7 times in the last 12 years. They have won the pennant three times: in 2011, 2020, and 2021.
Star player: 30-year-old SP Josue Gonzalez from Spain.

Copenhagen Sirens
Established in 1946, 16 playoff appearances, no championships
Originally in Liverpool, they relocated to Copenhagen, which was recently left behind by the Shamrocks, in 1966. While a successful team in Liverpool, winning 5 pennants in the post-war period, they didn’t replicate the success in Denmark, only winning the pennant once, in 1979. They currently experience the longest playoff drought in the International League, last securing the playoff berth in 1991.
Star player: 22-year-old 3B Ville Jarvinen from Finland.

Hamburg Cruisers
Established in 1912, 26 playoff appearances, 6 championships
The Cruisers claim the legacy of the first ILoB champions, Hamburg Hansa. However, the current Hamburg Cruisers team spent most of its existence in Amsterdam, where it won all of its 6 titles. Having relocated in 1985, they never captured the same level of success as before the move to Germany.
Star player: 32-year-old SP Ivan Simek from Czechia.

Helsinki Blizzard
Established in 1981, 17 playoff appearances, 2 championships
Both northernmost and easternmost team in the league, the Blizzard are isolated from the rest of the league. They had two periods of dominance, first in the late 80’s, when they won both of their championships, second in the 00’s, when they won their division 5 times in a row.
Star player: 27-year-old LF Minao Kaizu from Japan.

Prague Elephants
Established in 1997, 11 playoff appearances, no championships
Successors to the successful Bohemia team of the pre-war era, Prague has rejoined the league in 1997. They are consistently appearing in the playoffs, but they secured the pennant only once: in 2008.
Star player: 39-year-old SP Jeff Greenleaf from England.

I've finished making my first ever 3d stadium. It's my hometown park, Stadion im. Tadeusza Trzaskiego, home of the Krakow Dragons.
The Stadium is named after Tadeusz Trzaski, Hall of Famer and leader of pre-war Cracovia Team. Trzaski won 10 Player of the Year awards and won championship twice as a Cracovia player.
I think that it is okay, considering my total lack of experience in 3d modeling.
